A Ukrainian satanic whirlwind of chaos and blasphemy has landed among us. Just a glance at this Ukrainian band's name, Satan's War Machine, and you really don't expect to hear some family-friendly gospel music, do you? What we most blasphemous lil' bastards have here are 8 songs of some of the most infamous, anti-Christian, and war-infested Black Metal that has crossed our filthy and darkened paths for a while. These satanic warmongers and messengers of death and decay have pulled the right strings to create a relatively decent-sounding package of raw, fast, and still well executed and varied Black Metal that has some nuances of early Immortal, Angelcorpse, and the like as well as the demo days of Impaled Nazarene. This trio knows what they are doing, and they've certainly done enough on this slab to make some magic happen. The guys' own version of Khold's "Hundre a Gammal" even sounds surprisingly good with its Celtic Frost-esque, crawling vibe. On Violent Death Abomination, violent and satanic disorder reigns, so you're hell-come to enter if you dare. Let all the fires burn. |
