Review

This release is only two songs of pretty busy black metal with vocals that are very low in the mix which makes them barely audible, though I did find that it gives a bit of a mysterious, daunting atmosphere to the music. You'd have to crank this up to 11 to decipher the words, and even then... The first song is pretty good, a mostly fast-paced affair of raw black metal that packs quite a bit of diversity, from a very fast pace to slow and pounding. The second sound is over 13 minutes long and is not quite as good, especially since it ends with about six minutes of slow music with some clean vocals – not metal at all. I've heard this kind of stuff on occasion, but usually no more than 30 seconds to one minute in length and six minutes of it is just too much. On such a short release, you can almost feel like you've been robbed. Overall, some good stuff here but definitely not an essential release.
