SPELL OF TORMENT - Son of Mourning

Melodic and really well-executed, Swedish-tinged Black Metal from Finland.  :super:

People shit on that album, but I really like it, too. "Judas Be My Guide" is one of Maiden's best songs, period.

Kamelot - Epica
Twilightning - Delirium Veil

Two of my all time essentials.

Actually one of my favorite IM albums.  "Judas My Guide"  "The Fugitive" and that epic title track.

Great songs, though I personally think "Afraid to Shoot Strangers" is the best one on there.

OT: Atlantean Kodex-The Pnakotic Demos

OT: Path to Eternity - Don't Drop the Sword

This is good and I really wanna like it, but they are trying soooo hard to be Blind Guardian and not quite getting there.

I’m liking this new Crom but I’m still early on the first spin.

Ancient Empire- The Tower

I live in Canada, and I don't think they really have an distrubution up here...But I was able to contact the artist on Facebook to purchase the album directly.  I know...what a hassle right?  Maybe..but it's worth the effort to track this album down.  It's excellent old-school metal.

It's definitely worth it.  These guys are putting out some killer metal.  If you "sort of liked" their past work, I'd very much recommend their new album.  Excellent, longer songs are both epic and leave one wanting more.   :headbang:  I don't post much, but I do feel I need to spread the word on this great band (that I, of course, found from here in the first place, thank you very much Metal Mike!!).

Thanks, and take care brothers.

I second this, I just did the same, the new album is stellar and is worth tracking down, If you contact the band on Facebook Joe Liszt will send you a digital copy for eight bucks.
