Tyfon's Doom - Emperor's Path

Some really solid Ironsword/Hyborian Steel-styled stuff.

Indeed.

Expander - Endless Computer

Been listening to this for a while, so it's time to write a review. I almost skipped it and then realized it was a Nuclear War Now! release. Still find both the band and album name weird.

Tyfon’s Doom is in the queue.

I didn’t care much for the vocals or the guitar sound on that Expander album.

Listening to OZ Transition State, sounds more like Grim Reaper than OZ.

I just now noticed that you had sent that one in.

I'm enjoying it as well. Love the cover art.

Today:

Elvenking - Secrets of the Magick Grimoire

This is a lot of fun. Way better than The Pagan Manifesto imo

Xanthochroid - Of Erthe And Axen: Act I
Xanthochroid - Of Erthe And Axen: Act II

These need to be listened to as a whole, what a work of art!!

I second that. The lyrical content is great.

Beat in Black - Berserker

This is pretty damn good, and Yannis Papadopoulos is shaping up to be one of the better vocalists around!

Seven Spires - Solveig

Cool, female-fronted symphonic metal with hints of Kamelot and Autumn

Pretty fun album, check out Light & Shade they are a little more straight forward power metal band and share the same vocalist.  Ive read alot that her vocals are wierd and annoying but I love the range shes got.

Sounds pretty good. Scarlet Records is one of the labels I don't get anything from so never heard this band before.

Beast in Black - Berserker
RAM - Rod
Wolfshead - Leaden

RAM continue with quality material that Svbversvm proved them capable of producing. Not sure which of the two I like better but the Ramrod suite on the B-side is phenomenal stuff.

Agreed with everyone about the Beast in Black. Indisputable now that Anton was the key ingredient in Battle Beast.

I don't get Elvenking, everyone was bashing them for writting The Scythe, and now, it's feels like everyone likes them
