2007 metal DVDs
« on: February 11, 2008, 09:43:40 PM »

admittedly i didn't get many of the DVDs that came out last year, hell i don't even know how many came out.  i did get the Heaven and Hell one, as well as Fight, Kissology vol. 3 and the new Saxon DVD.  only ones i haven't watched yet are the Kissology (though i've started the first disc at least) and Saxon.  so for you all, what were some great DVDs that came out last year?

I tried to get the Heaven and Hell one, but I'm having a dick time finding it in a store.  Otherwise, the only one from this year that I bought was the Unholy Alliance Tour DVD.  Don't bother, it's fucking garbage.  COB only get two songs, and for some reason they pick their two shittiest songs (Angels Don't Kill and In Your Face), Lamb of God only gets one song (fairly unpopular opinion in most metal circles, but I enjoy LoG), and the bonus features are definitely not worth it (except Brann Dailor from Mastodon interviewing Dave Lombardo in the style of the old Chris Farley Show skits from SNL).

I got some other DVDs, but they are older (For Those Aboot to Rock, Wrath of the Norsemen, Killedelphia, et cetera).

Vital Remains - Evil Death Live

It doesn't have Benton on vocals, come on guys.

The reissue of Winds of Creation has a nice DVD with Sauron on vocals during their time right after the Negation.  It's a really nice addition to see the band in their prime with Sauron and Vitek.

I'm still pissed that the Gamma Ray DVD didn't got released like promised and was pushed back endlessly instead. It was supposed to come out in spring last year, and will -propably- be released next autumn now... lame sick
