No, English is not my first language. Greek is. And believe it or not I have a proficiency!
Besides I cannot practise my prof english anywhere, so If you guys see anything wrong just tell me.

I like too listening to full albums. I usually don't skip any tracks. My portable is too filled with full albums. I rarely do compilations now.
I just learned that practice can actually be spelled practise.  I was going to tell you it was spelled practice but apparently practise is also acceptable and according to dictionary.com is the British way of spelling it.  You just taught me something about my own language. thumbup

I think that practise is the verb while practice the noun right? Anyway, since we're getting a bit - just a bit  laugh - off topic let's start talking about ipods again...Shall we?  icon_razz

I don't have an IPOD. I generally listen to music either from my LP records, cassettes, Limewire, or internet radio.

Being in school makes it hard to be carrying around cd's, so that's why I got an iPod in the first place.  My car stereo broke down so I got a new one with an iPod interface, so it's really practical to have all my music in one device, and that's all I have to carry around.

Do not own a Ipod, do not plan on owning one - I have my discman always hand so no problems there...

- I don't think my employer would like me to listen to music in the office with full blown speakers.
- The iPOD (and other mp3 players I guess) has a standard headphone connector.  Fuck earbuds (I can't stand those), I got myself some real headphones.  Plus there's something to be said about not blasting music at full volume when wearing headphones.

Well, I have no problem with using them for situations where it's antisocial to play music on a stereo. And good idea on the headphones, that wasn't what I was bitching about anyway icon_wink I mean, walkmans and discmans existed for the same purpose, but neither of those contributed to the demise of physical music formats, which is why I tend to dislike mp3 players icon_wink I have no problem with sensible use of them, but they've made it too damn easy for idiots to make an excuse for never buying CDs.

My dad actually gave me one for xmas last year, he won it playing golf and my parents are both luddites so they just gave it to me laugh: So far i've used it exactly once, on a long plane trip. It only holds about 3 albums anyway haha...

I don't have an IPOD, I have an Iriver H340.... or as us Iriver owners like to call, pwnrivers lololo!!! icon_rolleyes

Though my twin has an IPOD, it has affected the way I listen to music on the computer, it has forced me to use Itunes because I can somehow never get any other player to be the default player. I too have full albums on my mp3 player, Irivers are great, my model is easily converted to a video player so I have many film clips and metal dvds on it as well. The great thing about the video converters is that they really decrease the size of the files.

I've had people seem disgusted when they found out that I buy CDs (my sister being one of them). "Why buy a CD when you can download for free?".  idiot

My girlfriend gave me that response.  icon_rolleyes

I've heard the "you still buy CDs" bullshit a few times myself.
