My friend found his old Nintendo and we've been playing Metroid and Super Mario 3 on it, along with the incredibly frustrating Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZYQ7ZkhRgI&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Escrewattack%2Ecom%2FAngryNerdMain%2Ehtml

Awesome site! Some of these games I had on my Commodore 64 for those of you who are old enough to remember that. icon_smile
Too bad you can't play with a game pad. Using the keyboard just doesn't seem right. icon_rolleyes

You guys are so young...

My favourite oldie game is 'The Lords of Midnight' for Spectrum 48K.

I'm as young or younger than a lot of these people and I grew up on DOS games. AD&D stuff like Curse of the Azure bonds... Wolfenstein 3D, Dune 2, Commander Keen, Out of this World, etc.

not to mention the quest games. Space Quest, King's Quest, Police Quest... mmmm.

Kids these days.  I grew up with my much-loved Atari 2600 playing Yar's Revenge, Warlords, Atlantis, Cosmic Ark...somehwre around here I still have several of the old "ET" games for that system.

Of course, to a curmudgeon like me "Classic Gaming" is something you do with dice and graph paper.
