Ok, I just saw that video, and I have to admit that while I wasn't expecting anything remotely good, I was truly caught off guard by the fact that it is a fucking horrible punk (or at least tries to sound like it) song  icon_eek

If this is ANYTHING like 1980's, pre-sellout Metallica, I'll eat my computer.

This is panterrible music.  I guess that mtv tribute thing really went to their heads.Lars has 365 different tennis headbands in his closet-one for each day of the year. Ja, this is going to be another A+ production from a bearded new yorker, Mr. Rick Rubin. Have a latte on me.

Actually if this does sound like 1980's Metallica I will give my Morbid Sanit, Municipal Waste, Laaz Rockit etc CD's to a random person for free and declare the end of the world.

I care but only for morbid fascination...kinda like rubber necking while driving by a car wreck. Although most people fail to see that Metallica has been complete crap A LOT longer than they were good (8 years vs. 19).

Why does anybody care?  I stopped caring about them since the late 90's.  I always think that if you ignore them, they will go away.

Unfortunately, I know Metallica will never go away. At 84 I'll still be hearing "MOP was the best album EVAR" on a daily basis and will end up in a mental institution for drowning an aging metallica fan in his rice pudding.

I'll always love Metallica's pre-1991 material, but pretty much everything they've put out since then, ESPECIALLY St. Anger, has been at best a disappointment if not utter and complete shit.

Kill Em All is and always has been the only album they did that I give a shit about. It was full of youthful enthusiasm, too bad it didn't last.

You've seen "When Animals Attack".  Now you've seen an equally disgusting and horrific, yet somehow humorous phenomenon in the late Metallica..."When Metal Bands Stop Drinking".

Yeah, bands tend to lose something, including their credibility, when they go on the wagon. I've seen it before- Aerosmith, Motley Crue, ....
