Yeah... That's horrible! Ummm, Metalheads... from everywhere... coming to watch a show. Must go cry in basement now!!!

No, no - Don't get me wrong, I'd definitely go if I could - But it seems Wacken is just bent on signing way too many bands! Some that aren't even metal to begin with! Signing bands onto the bill like BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE and AS I LAY DYING to play along with greats such as POSSESSED and SODOM is just really weird for me.

Besides, my house doesn't have a basement. And I'd prefer a show like this to an endless Black/Death Metal festival.  sleep

I was just being an ass.  naughty
Though I am seriously considering going next year as I always wanted to. Well, Wacken would be one of the things in a much longer trip in mind. I'd only watch a few bands that I want to anyway, not everything.

I'd much rather go to KIT, to be honest.  icon_smile

They've definitely expanded a bit too much outside of metal in the past couple of years.

If I were to go to one over there, it would be KIT or Bang Your Head.  I'm not fond of open air events.

I am going to make it my mission to boo Bullet for my Valentine off the stage.  I don't think it will be too difficult to get the rest of the crowd involved.

I'm sure Bullet for my Valentine would get a bad reception for the crowd anyways... look at the bill. There are way more true metal bands than metalcore. Hence, the crowd should be true enough. Hell, I'm sure the metalcore kids would even boo BFMV off the stage... they aren't the least bit metal.
