...you could put them in the microwave and it was cool looking.

Hey yeah, I never thought of that... It looks like it gets struck by lightning or something.

I would never try it with my own microwave though.

Well I can personally attest now that Windows Vista is the WORST OS I have ever seen.

What was is wrong with it? It's still too new to have everything working properly though, i'm sure. I haven't had a chance to play with it.

Largely, it is just incompatible with everything non-Microsoft.  Have fun trying to burn anything!  It's an intentionally proprietary OS.

Really? Isn't that way the EU imposed a massive fine on Microsoft during the XP days?
I guess the EU will now have to impose a fine AND issue an angry note.

Don't underestimate the power of an angry note. My Dad once wrote an angry note to Zenith (they make TVs among other things). His gripe was that it stopped working 4 days before the warranty expired. It had a 10 year warranty. Sure enough, they sent a new TV, since they didn't even manufacture or have parts for that ancient model that my Dad had anymore.

But why did EU fine MS? What they do is maybe unethical but it is entirely within the law.

European Law <> Canadian Law <> U.S. Law

Anti-competitive practices or something like that.  There are billions of articles on the subject, none of them having the same take as the others.
