#1 is so true.

If the page doesn't load, try later.  I found the link on Slashdot.org and it could therefore suffer from the Slashdot effect.

Fuck yeah!  I was even thinking about them a while ago.  It's been a while since I've seen them.  Good thing.  laugh

I've never used one- I assume they're a major pain in the butt.

Of course I have to agree about Adobe Flash Player- it kept causing my server to crash. As for MySpace, even with all the perverts, posers, emos, and other crap one runs across there,  I haven't run across anything like it for reconnecting with old friends from school, and I like what it's done for local music, especially metal, which our corporate FM radio stations sure as hell aren't doing jack shit for.

I like them, you always have a camera with you if something funny happens or whatever. I hate carrying a bunch of stuff. I have phone, camera and mp3-player all in one, I think it's great!

Yeah, I don't really understand why camera phones are so bad? They're a great idea...

If I didn't have a camera phone, I wouldn't have a camera.

They sure come in handy for filming amateur porn or catching people in compromising postions.

The only redeeming feature of AOL cds was that they had both Netscape Navigator (as it was known back in the day) and MS IExplorer browsers on them. This was great for poor people who lived in fucking third world countries with scratchy phone lines who couldn't possibly download 22.5mb in a single session without a disconnect. Now I've had edu, cable, and DSL for so long I almost take it for granted. Then I remember 16 bit MIRC on 3.1 using ATDT string commands to dial because winsock wasn't automatic and waiting 2 hours to download a 33 second video that played at 100x60.

The only redeeming feature of AOL cds was that...
...you could put them in the microwave and it was cool looking.
