Question about Bathory's - Blood Fire Death
« on: August 03, 2006, 04:35:14 PM »

I recently picked up a cd copy of Blood Fire Death, but it wasn't until I got home that I realized that the cd  was released by Kraze.  Did Black Mark ever license this out to Kraze or is this some kind of bootleg?  The colour quality of the front cover seems to be lacking and the audio quality is poor, even for Bathory.
Does anyone have any ideas?

"Kraze Music is a US-based sub-label of Maze Records (Maze e.g. released Exciter - Over The Top LP). While Maze is an official label, I think that Kraze concentrated on ripping/bootlegging other stuff, similar to Canadian Banzai Records. " (Found this information elsewhere)

I picked up this Kraze version as well from a used CD shop many years ago, and I can only assume that the official versions are exclusively through Under One Flag/Black Mark then and now.
