I can slightly understand this article because here at my school every single retard runs around yelling rap, hip-hop, and numetal lyrics while teachers are trying to teach and most of the people who make intelligent GPAs dont listen to such music. Perhaps they are trying to say that people who listen to talented, creative, and music that isnt about sliting their wrists or bitches and hoes tend to be slightly smarter.
And slipknot are horrible writers because they just feed the masses with what they want to hear but if they got rid of the numetal get-up they might be able to write a decent album. They are alright musicians.
But you see - Dream Theater are excellent musicians.
Doesn't mean we had to sit through a SHITLOAD of rubbish before they wrote Octavarium, which was their best effort since Images and Words.
