They have a new album coming out already in October called Caledonia. You can see the artwork to the new album here:

I hope this album is better than their last.

Extremely excited for this. But I have to ask, how come you didn't like their last outing? Personally, I really didn't like it at first, but the review was spot on....it really doesn't seem like its Suidakra on the first or second listen, but the albums just grows and hooks on you after awhile. Its not their strongest effort, and there was a shift AWAY from the kick ass folkish riffs, but its still a great album. I too could agree that I hope its better, in that its not such a "change".

It's not so much that I don't like it, but compared to their other albums I don't like it. I love the bad ass folk riffs they did on previous albums, and they got away from that on Command To Charge. I'm just hoping they go back to that style on this next album.

According to the article some of the new songs will be about ancient Scottish history, so perhaps there's hope that they will be back to their own personal style this time...

Yeah, okay, I agree then. Its not that it wasn't a bad album, I still love it. Its just, what made Suidakra different from a "great band" and a "Godly band" was the difference between Command to Charge and Signs of the Fallen. I guess we can be thankful that even the experimental side of Suidakra is still awesome. If only all bands could turn everything they do into gold. Here's to some high expectations!

I agree with you, I never bothered purchasing the last album because it really does step away from the awesome work they were doing previously. My favourite albums are the first 3. I'll be sure and check out the new one but on MP3 first, no more blind purchases of SUIDAKRA for me.

Whoa whoa, lets not start talking crazy. Command to Charge is definitely still worth the purchase, if only for Dead Man's Reel, the instrumental, alone. I eventually ended up liking it much more than initial listens. Point it, there really isn't any reason to not trust Suidakra.

I'm just happy Command to Charge was an experimental album. Having said that, it was damn good, not as good as Signs for the Fallen or any older album, however. I expect the new Suidakra to be nothing short of awesome.
Staying in the same department, somewhat, Eternal Tears of Sorrow's new album isn't half as bad as I thought it'd be. To be honest, I thought it would be absolutely horrible but it turned out to be pretty Ok up till now.

You might be right but when one is on such a limited budget and has a long want list, one has to be more choosy. If I was as millionaire I would blind purchase anything, even a new METALLICA album.

I think when I'd be a millionaire it wouldn't matter anymore.

Getting back on topic I hope it reminds me of "Signs Of The Fallen" more than anything else - that one was great!
