An interesting observation
« on: December 15, 2006, 03:26:36 PM »

Today my girlfriend and I went to this posh community swimming pool in Richmond Hill.  As I start swimming, I realize that all the mosaic tiles on the bottom and the sides are done in an unusual way. They all form inverted crosses - two at the deep end, two at the shallow end, and a few large ones on the bottom.  I wonder what the contractors were smoking and listening to while coughing up the job.

Maybe you are just looking at them from the wrong direction.

You can't really look from the wrong direction at something that's right underneath the diving board, that's the thing.

How ya been 4th? Long time no talk.

Same old same old I guess. Bought a $500 suit for my bros wedding and I am completely broke. My car also ran out of gas on the highway last night. 4 km walk and back later, I got home at 5 am. But yeah, other than the no money for gas bit, I'm doing alright.  icon_cool I don't seem to recognize your screen name though. Were you someone else on the old board?

Sorry to hear about your car trouble.  I was MP on the old board and here and got the boot recently. Or so I'm thinking anyway - you never know, it might have been a glitch.  Anyway, I'm being extra careful right now. You'll see me posting more and more in metal discussions, that's for sure.

I wish you a Merry Xmass and much happiness in the year 2007.  Are you still reviewing albums?

Yeah sort of. Not so much as before, but once in a while I've been writing a review here and there.

Good to hear from you dude and happy new year...

I was Christmas shopping today at Wal-Mart, some fat guy mowed me over with his shopping cart, that sucked pretty bad.

I'm in Canuckistan.

Australia as in "down under" where everything is ass backwards?  Was that your punchline? Just wondering. Oh, and I have nothing against Australia, it's a fine continent.

You said you went swimming- I'm assuming it's an outdoor pool, and with it being December....

Actually, I'm in the US- Illinois to be exact.

It was an indoor pool actually. Around here, outdoor pools are shut down the last week of August.
