What kinds of set ups do you guys use to listen to music? I myself use headphones at home and earphones on the go. For all the music the people on these boards listen to, do you listen to it from your computer, vinyl, speakers, headphones, etc...?

Prefer to listen to a new album on cd player through headphones, or if it's mp3 files for reviewing purposes on my phone/mp3 player. Otherwise I have a huge soundsystem which i have my record player and cassette deck hooked up to. Great for blasting during the evening, not so much night

With a spliff and my incredibly large speakers.

In the car or on the computer. Neither are anything special. Not a big fan of headphones.

Most of the time I listen on my PC with some very, very nice headphones. For pure indulgence I drop vinyl on to my turntable and listen through my mighty speakers, preferably with a little perception tweaking courtesy of some quality smokables.

Almost exclusively from headphones or earphones. Not many people like metal around here and I'm not a guy who enjoys pissing off others for my pleasure...plus, it's really annoying when your neighbors call security just to tell you to lower the volume of your music

I don't have a nice sound system/home stereo anymore. But, I couldn't make much of a racket anyways. I use Bose headphones on my PC, Boombox, Mp3 player (occasionally) and my car stereo.

I have a 160 GB Ipod that I plug in through my stereo. That's usually what I use at the house. I also listen to music on my laptop, but with no headphones for some reason. My dad just finished assembling a very nice record player setup, so I'll be finally breaking in my copy of The Black Halo really soon. I use headphones to listen to my Ipod when I'm on the go, but by far my favorite way to listen to music is to crank some tunes in my truck. I get a great crunch out of those speakers and I just love blasting the shit out of music in general.

Mostly from my computer using some nice Sennheiser headphones og on the go (and occasionally at work) using my ipod.
If I listen through our stereo, I just plug my ipod in using the built in dock.

On my PC. I used to have a Nomad player I took to work and hooked up to mobile speakers, but now I work from home and I play almost all my music from here.

Most of my stuff I play on a stereo or cd player. I pretty much use my ipod for audiobooks these days.

Laptop at home, with headphones if there are other people in the room. Used to have a stereo, but it stopped working for no reason. I do most of my listening on my way to or back from something, using a very basic mp3 player and headphones. I need a new stereo, CDs just sound a lot better through decent speakers.

Pretty much any number of ways, from on the comp while writing/doing homework to in the car to when I'm out working out or something. Whenever I have free time to do it.
