New Running Wild Album, Shadowmaker
« on: January 25, 2012, 09:58:43 PM »

New Running Wild album due out in April, called Shadowmaker. NOT a good sign of things to come. One of the most basic covers ever, and probally the worst RW album cover. My grandpa would always tell me never judge a book by it's cover, so I am hoping that I am wrong, and that this album will be the best thing they have done since The Rivalry (I did like The Brotherhood though). Also, there's no mention of Matthias Liebetruth in the album line-up, so I am a little worried that our old friend Angelo Sasso may be back (the drum machine). Let's hope that it's not so! Rolf NEEDS to get a real drummer back on the studio recordings, some bands can do well with drum machines (Type O Negative, Samael, Summoning, Ministry) but they don't mix with RW at all. I hate to say it, but I WILL be downloading this album first and then I will decide if it's worth my hard earned money.

Just heard the whole thing. It's like the party metal version of Running Wild. Neutered and dull.
