Tarot - Gravity of Light  smokin - this is quite cool, and will probably need to gel a bit once I get used to the fresh new sound of theirs. More streamlined, a bit calmer, but still unbelievably intelligent, standoffish and stylish.
Icarus Witch - Songs for the Lost  ylsuper two years later and with no more prejudice, this sounds fucking great and I regret giving it only a 3.75

And yet the review will remain, doing damage to the perception of an excellent album you did not understand.

It's a kick ass album.

Been spinning Kiuas's Lustdriven a lot lately. A very good album, indeed. As well as Riverside's Anno Domini High Definition, which is fucking magic on a disc.

Avantasia - The Wicked Symphony
Avantasia - Angel of Babylon

Got these coming in the mail now, but I did sample a few tracks on youtube. The title track of Angel of Babylon is one of the best songs they've ever done, and probably the best single song I've heard yet this year.

Yeah that song is great. The production on both albums sounds fantastic.

I just watched some fan-filmed videos of Kamelot performing 2 new songs, "The Great Pandemonium" and "Hunter's Season." You can't really hear any guitar except for the solos, but they sound melodic as fuck. I hope that new album makes me walk funny for weeks.
