Maybe even a full-length Atlantean Kodex album.

I hope they can do one. I've heard a ton of rumors, but no actual talk yet.

I'm pretty sure I heard that the Atlantean Kodex album is estimated to be coming out June-ish, but dont quote me on that. I need it bad, just the raw recordings alone I heard (no vocals or bass) were tremendous.
That is awesome news.  I just hope they make it actually possible to attain.  I still haven't been able to get my hands on an actual copy of The Pnakotic Demos.

Battleroar - Age of Chaos
Omen - Battle Cry
Skullview - Consequences of Failure
Autopsy - Mental Funeral
Symphony X - Twilight in Olympus
Atheist - Piece of Time
Atheist - Unquestionable Presence
Atheist - Elements
Pestilence - Testimony of the Ancients

Ditto, that's why I need to know when it's coming out because when they're all gone, they're really gone.

It should be out in may/june.  The LP will be released by Iron Kodex - while they have not found a label for the CD yet.

My source for this is comments by users and band members on the Shadow Kingdoms forum.

Their Myspace says they are recording right now, even gives a tracklist, so it is very real.

EDIT: and Mark Shelton just blogged that his fingers are sore from three days in the studio tracking solos for the new MR album.

This is going to be a great year for epic heavy metal!  Any other news on the new Manilla Road album?

Demontage - The Principal Extinction

Cool stuff, like Mercyful Fate with even more black and thrash influence added in. The riffs are fucking godly.  headbang

Aspera - Ripples
Fans of Pagan's Mind or Circus Maximus will dig the shit out of this!

Forsaken - Dominaeon  bow

Orden Ogan - Easton Hope

Southern Cross - Down Below
Excellent dark Power Metal in the vein of Angel Dust from young Canadian band.

Aspera - Between Black and White

It isn't as good as Vale by a long shot. Just isn't doing it for me so far, although it is pretty entertaining in parts like on the first track and the last couple of them.

It's good, but it lacks that certain wow factor that separates good albums from the great ones, at least after a half dozen or so spins that is where I am sitting with it.

Guess I'm glad I started with this one as its kicking my ass, which means Vale will be that much more mind blowing when I get to it!

Acid Witch- Witchtanic Hellucinations  headbang

I dismissed this as just another stoner/doom release, but how wrong I was. This is fucking awesome.

Vale is a lot different from this, less standard PM and more proggy, more variety, etc.
