New York Metal Stores

I'm in New York this weekend, in Manhattan 44th and 7 avenue. I was wondering if anybody knows about a good metal store near me. Thanx for the replies

The best record store I know of in NYC for metal is Generation Records on Thompson st between 3rd st and Bleeker st. That area has other record stores you could check out as well but Generation is far superior for metal merchandise (they even have t-shirts).

Basically what Kev said, Generation is the best place to go by leaps and bounds. Hoodies are a bit overpriced but they have a great selection of Vinyl and T shirts

When I was in New York I was surprised at how good the metal section was at Virgin Megastore in Times Square, even though it was quite expensive.

tanx for the info everyone, but now I'm back in Montreal Cry, but I did get to go to Generation, what a store  thumbup

I bought 8 cds that would of cost me like 200+$ in canada for only 122 :P
