Thanks for the link! Sent a request. I haven't been to a show in a long time. I plan on going soon, but been playing catch up with bills and stuff. I have a few lifelong metal head friends. However,  a show like Pathfinder or Yngwie wouldn't interest them much. And the wife is an American Idol type so there is a conflict of interest there, obviously.

Mercifully, my fiancee is very tolerant of my music tastes (and actually quite enjoys Within Temptation, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, even Vision Divine!), she just gets a little sad when I don't spend evenings with her.

I'll go to most anything, metal-wise. I'm still broadening horizons and opening doors. Anything other than power/prog is something I would skip unless I know someone else who is going. Next big anticipated concert I have is the Finnish folk tour next Feb.

The wife gets especially irritated when I play doom at high decibels. Isole makes here depressed! Go figure. Awesome band! She still enjoys the classic Hair Metal/Rock, ( Poison, Bon Jovi ), but I refuse to listen to that stuff faithfully anymore.

I heard Ozzy with Halford are coming, but I'm not sure I'm up for that one yet.
