Ok, the title of this thread is, obvious, borrowed from the famous book "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die" (2005). But in that book are listed albums from various genres. I want to all make together an only metal albums list.The metal albums that really counts!
I'm sure everybody can come with a positive idea on the list. What's your opinion?
I will start the list, and hope we all continue that list.

After weeks of painful decision making i finally narrowed down my favorite albums to a list of 175!!

 

I know it may sound like alot but i could have honestly put in many more.

Strangely enough some that where in my Top 15 have shifted...... this was taken over a sample of 3 weeks so moods on listening does and will always vary

 

Although these are in a particular order i believe i have set the first 25 and following 25 in different levels to form a top 50, followed by another set of 25 and 25 to form the top 100 etc........ This due the different genres that are impossible to compare with each other.
