Everybody has a soft side in music. Even the KVLT guys (god I hate that term). If it's listening to Khlyst and after Pink Floyd or Iron Maiden to Beethoveen or Moonsorrow to 'gasp' country music haha.
When I'm not banging my head from metal. I like to listen to prog music in the likes of Pink Floyd, Marillion, Wobbler, D'arcana, Jean Michel Jarre, The Flower Kings, Vangelis, Genesis and some others stuff too like video games music (FF, Silent Hill), Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Devin Townsend's Hummer...
There's alot more but I won't write them all loll
Now it's your turn to tell us your soft side.

Might as well have called this "guilty pleasures," but I'll bite. I occasionally enjoy some Beatles songs, Pink Floyd is gonna appear a lot on this list, and probably the most non-metal music I listen to is Dave Matthews Band's
Crash
album. But, oh dear GOD, I despise country music so much it's not even funny.

haha me too I hate country music.
I also a sucker for some ballads. When making cd's from mp3 was the "IN" thing in the end of the 90's and beginning of 00's, I had made like 10 cd's from ballads, same thing as Axel Rudi Pell loll Cheesy I know

Acoustic country blues like you can hear on the early Stones albums is cool.
Add to this some slide playing and you fall right into the swampy blues man

I actually listen to a lot more non-metal music than metal, and I don't consider myself a metalhead at all. I'm a fan of music who happens to like metal is all.
Some of my favorite non-metal bands/artists: Death in June, Rome, Joy Division, City of Caterpillar, Fields of the Nephilim (the first three albums), The Sisters of Mercy, Wooden Shjips, The Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd (early albums in particular), Procal Harum, Creedence Clearwater Revival, etc...

Personally, I like all music.
And, I mean everything.
From Country, to Rap, to Classical, to Metal (Obviously, else I wouldn't even be in this site), Pop, Techno, Dubstep, Punk, Ect. Ect. Ect.
Possibly my guiltiest pleasure is I friggen love Bloodhound Gang.
They're pretty epic.

Some of my favorite non-metal music: Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Meat Loaf, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Journey, The Beach Boys, Radiohead, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Johnny Cash, Elton John, Bob Seger, ZZ Top, Blue Oyster Cult, Eric Clapton, plus countless others. I also enjoy pop music and (very rarely) some rap. I can't seem to stand bluegrass or modern country at all.

Well yeah, modern country sucks.
"Well she took my house, and she took my kids, and she took my car, and she took my dog"
Not pleasing to the ear at all.
But old country, like Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, and Old Willie Nelson (New Willie irritates the hell out of me) ect. are all good stuff.

I very rarely move from metal, if I do I'll normally reach for Rush or a few other progressive bands. I enjoy video game music particularly from the 16 bit era, Nobuo Uemetsa (sp?) is a quality composer and his band The Black Mages are awesome.
I also dabble in jazz and classical music from time to time, and have a soft spot for AOR

I saw the "Lock topic" checkbox checked when I went to select "Move topic", but I just assumed I had clicked it by mistake.
