Here's the link for the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNttRSMqOe0
It is overall a pretty good song, but I'm not sure if it's the right one for the first single.

It takes them a full two minutes to get into the song?   sick This is precisely the reason why Virtual XI sank.  And the song isn't that great, I mean, it sounds exactly as if it was written in the Blaze Bayley era, in fact I can hear him singing it right now  sleep

You know what?  That solo in the song is incredible, and the song gets better as it progresses, although I do agree that it is not a wise choice for a single.  I mean, do you remember the "Wicker Man" single?  It destroyed the radio everywhere and people were HUNGRY for BNW.

That is some killer artwork.  It reminds me of how awesome the Trooper single cover art was.  I can see shirts, posters, and other Iron Maiden things featuring that art to come in the future.

hmmm, the cover art is amazing, but that song is pretty boring I think.   I can't say i'm the biggest fan of the recent Maiden stuff, its a lot of hit and miss, I think.   This song being a good example....nothings really all that catchy about it.   Hope things go up from here at least.

But, I agree, that cover art is awesome....as is most of Maiden's stuff.

That cover artwork is a thousand times better than Dance of Death - what were they thinking?

And usually - Maiden release a fast paced song as the first single of an album at least in the 90's and early 2000's:
No Prayer : Tailgunner
Fear of the Dark : Be QUick
X Factor: Man on the Edge
Virtual Crap I mean XI - Futureal
Brave New World - Wickerman
Dance of Death - Wildestdreams

Is definitely a departure from the norm - good song though even if it does take a while to build and is quite X-Factor-ish.

That song took about 3 listens to grow on me. When I went to listen to it the second time, I didn't remember how it went at all. I hope there are some better songs than that on the album.

Yeah that's what I mean. I don't understand why they picked this as the single.

Yep.  A Blaze stamp all over it as pointed out.  I can't get with it.

I was just thinking .."Hooks in you" should have been a single...16 years ago.     Good tune.

Great art, and a very good song.

Better than the artwork they've used in the past few years, especially that horrible Dance of Death cover.
