The youtube track isn't Wintersun. I wouldn't trust any sources unless they are official when it comes to this this album. I've went past the point of caring about this now, their debut was nothing special.

That´s right, it´s not Wintersun, Unfortunately I listened to it on a laptop with a very bad quality sound. icon_redface

But.....the other link....spirit of metal is probably true.

It would be fine if not for the fact that half the songs on the album run for over 7 minutes sleep

And if Jari didn't screech over the music in that really dullard vocal style that's popular among a lot of those bands...clean vocals would definitely benefit them. Although I mostly just found the songwriting kind of boring itself, even for all the stuff crammed in.

I have the oportunity to change some words with Kai Hahto (the drummer of Wintersun) this summer, after a show of Swallow The Sun. He told me that almost 3/4 of new album is already composed and the album will hit the shelves probably next year, but it's quite possible even in december, depends of the problems with their label. So, we just have to have a little patience.
