HOW TO SUBMIT A SONG REQUESTTo submit a song,
start a new topic and provide the following information:
In the SUBJECT line:Band and song name. For example:
Judas Priest - Screaming for VengeanceIn the BODY of the message - Band name
- Album name
- Song name
- OPTIONAL: URL to the band's web site or Myspace page (just when it's one of those bands whose name is used by 50 other bands.)
- YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER ON THE BOARD TO MAKE A REQUEST.
- This forum is for REQUESTS ONLY. There will be another forum for suggestions later on.
- Requests are for everyone - listeners, bands, labels.
- Bands and labels: If we do not have your song, you'll need to provide it to us - leave the information needed to contact you.
- This is NOT the place to ask for your album to be reviewed! Use the Contact page of the web site for this purpose.
- THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES THAT YOUR REQUEST WILL BE PLAYED, and we can only put a limited number of songs on the server, so it may take a while for a song to be added to the playlist.
- DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) regulations prohibit us from saying WHEN a particular song will be played.
- Requests will be part of the shuffled playlist (the playlist that plays when no scheduled hosted show is playing.
- KEEP IT METAL. You know where you are, right? No nu-metal, metalcore, grindcore, whatever core.
- Listen to the radio. Our collective ego can use a higher total of listening hours.
