Funny that you mention it, I was thinking of making a comeback!

I train at home... so that I can pump iron to the sound of metal.    headbang

Hi again.

I'd like to share with you some of the exercises I have, kind of... invented.

Triceps of Doom

This a superset of and Skull Crusher and French Press. You do the Skull Crush to failure and then you French Press until you the muscle fails again.

Crunch Agony

OK, we know how to do crunches, don't we? We count the reps 1, 2, 3, 4...

This is the same, but we flex the muscle and we count 1. Relax.
Second rep: flex and count 1, 2. Relax.
Third rep: flex and count 1, 2, 3. Relax.
Fourth rep: flex and count 1, 2, 3, 4. Relax.
Fifth rep: OK, you get it.

Good work out!

Thanks Sirliftsalot and you other guys for the great tips! I have been using the "Monday-chest, triceps,  Wednesday-legs,  Friday-biceps, back, shoulders"-shedule for a few weeks now and I really think it works well with me.  thumbup

Any suggestions for some good weight-lifting metal?  Grin

Thrash, thrash and... Thrash!  Grin
Manilla Road, Kataklysm, Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, death, thrash, and traditional work the best.  Manowar and their cheesy lyrics all the way.   laugh I say that as I am eating Cheetos.

I think there is too much hassle about routines... I wouldn't worry abut that very much. As long as you have a split routine and train all the body with good form, you'll be OK.

Any suggestions for some good weight-lifting metal?  Grin

Thrash tires me out. I use it to drive. I work out with traditional metal, I prefer something heavy, with a firm, pounding rhythm. Anything with macho lyrics works well, too.
