I think Manowar has the world record for the loudest concert, do they not?

Last time I checked, they did.  I wonder how many of their fans have hearing damage now.

I wish I knew. I'd love to see them live.

According to wikipedia (take it for what it is worth) KISS hit 136 decibels in 2009 at the Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest on 7/15/09, breaking the previous record of 129 held by Manowar.

Allegedly, neighbors called the authorities to complain and the band had to turn down the sound.

C'mon Michel, did you HAVE to call the man and rain on KISS' parade?

Hmmm... Did they, really?  I live about 1.5Km from the War Museum (that's where BluesFest is held) and I didn't hear anything.  Unlike last year where even with the windows closed I could hear the lyrics(!) and as far as I know, the # of decibels was much lower. I can understand how people living just a few hundred metres away would freak out though - I've walked by a few times and that was pretty loud (doesn't help that they had a stage facing a residential area!)
