Man, your band is great! Very melodic, very powerful! Keep it Up!
Your voice is awesome too, I specially like how it sounds on the lows! Did you have any training with a proper coach?

Anywayz, my band is really small, just me and some friends playing on local clubs and having a good time  cheers
Last time I checked, the name was Lightmare or something  laugh

Ah, Lightmare - I love it!

Thanks for the compliment, by the way. I haven't had any real training, though I do a lot of warm up exercises. Breathing and things like that. I've been trying to stretch my voice out a lot, trying to make it deeper and more powerful, and that can take some time when you're used to singing high.

Thanks fellows! Was also writing for examiner.com a while back and did an article on Metal Crypt, Michel has been so kind as to link to two of my sites now  Grin

Yes, indeed. Welcome!  thumbup

Yes, well the real reason I'm here is to scold you on the recent review of Reinxeed's "Majestic". 3.75? Unacceptable.

I kid, love that album though.

I did that for about a year with the site bookmarked after I found it, then I made it my homepage because I look at it every time I go on the net. I've found so much stuff here that you just don't get pointed out to you anywhere else. I mean, you can go to Metal Archives and dig and dig and dig and dig and maybe you'll stumble across some of this stuff at some point in the future, but if you come here, the work is already done.

Yeah, smaller community means more efficiency, and more chance of greater overlap in personal taste. I mean, it's obvious not all of us agree on everything, but it's better than at the Archives, where opinions vary so wildly it's completely impossible to get an actual recommendation.

Seems more useful for information than recs, that's a good point. I do still use it for info.

It's shameful how often i visit the MA, when it's down i feel like i might as well be dead. It's been such a wealth of knowledge for me when checking out bands and looking up reviews. I try to copy/paste my own reviews there whenever i have a recent batch.

The small community here is refreshing! Probably my first experience with a smaller community like it. I'll agree with Butchersword wholeheartedly, this is one of the first places i check every day to see what's new up my alley (power/prog). Reviews are short and concise, my preference when it comes to quick discoveries.

I was...similar about three years ago when I first found the site. Maybe not to the point of feeling like I might as well be dead, but I pored through it all endlessly for about six months. Then I decided to shave my six-foot beard and take a shower!
