I have lurked here for a year or more ( not really sure) – mostly for the reviews, but have found that I usually check the forum most days as well, so I thought I would join the festivities.

I’m 37 and have listened to (with varying intensity) metal since the mid 80ies – these days I find myself getting more and more into trad/epic doom and doomish metal & rock, but I like most kinds of metal as long as it is not too extreme or too flowery.

Hello everyone at MetalCrypt.

I just got the internet in my house despite being in my (early) 30's icon_redface so now i can post on boards like this which seems a rather nice one.

I found the site by accident and took all the metal trivia tests. Depsite not being from the US i got a surprising amount right in the What State Are They From quiz?

I like all kinds of metal, trad, classic, black, thrash and a bit o doom the most. Right now I'm listening to Count Raven.
