think it's kind of ironic how many metal fans like football. consider football to be a big dumb american pasttime, for big dumb people... the sports equivilant of pop music.

Football, if you read up on how the game was invented, is actually soccer for the retards who couldn't understand the rules of a simple game and started using their hands.

Steelers just got shut out by the Jaguars; kind of a surprise.

I'm not sold on the Jaguars offense but the defense has always been solid. I think it is only a matter of time before Fred Taylor gets hurt again and without at least a slight running game it is hard to win in the NFL. More importantly the hype surrounding Big Ben is starting to show. He has yet to take that team on his shoulders and pull one out with his arm. Since he has such a good team around him there was no need. Last night when it was needed he didn't show much of anything.

Speaking of a overhyped QB it is really starting to look like the Vikings letting Culpepper go was not as bad an idea as at looked at first.  Grin

I find it kind of idiotic how the title of this thread is "Any NFL Football fans here?" and we have people that click on this thread to say football is stupid.  Sounds like someone got one too many wedgies and swirlies from the football players at their school.

bahh, I edited that remark in at a later date. Originally I had no intention of badmouthing football.
