I know there are a lot of damn foreigners here so this may mean little to a lot of you but if there are any fans here what did you think of the first weekend of the season? I just got done watching my boys grind out a win against Washington and was thoroughly impressed with the change in the Vikings. Going on the road and opening up the season against a playoff team and simply punching them in the mouth....fuckin' sweet.

Watching the game it seemed like the Vikings beat them at their own game. Strong defense, keep running the ball and don't make mistakes in the passing game...this is damn near a trademark of the Redskins of the last couple of years. Seems weird that the Vikings, who used to be a finesse type team, have made such a drastic change in philosophy so quickly. Still a long season so who knows. One thing I didn't understand though was why Washington didn't keep running the ball...Portis must still not be 100% but Betts was also running well..I swear it seemed they were getting at least 3-5 yards per carry.

Holy fuck the Raiders looked bad. I have seen high school teams that played better offense.

The 49ers losing Julian Peterson over the off season really hurts them. losing to Arizona however is not as bad as it used to be...there some serious talent on that team now.

I'll try to watch some Viking games this year, Childress is a good guy who I want to see do well. He really seems to really be cleansing that team of turds and hopefully he learns from Andy Reid's mistakes.

I'm live in Tampa but, not neccesarily a Bucs fan, who got their asses kicked 27-0 at home against the Ravens. I've actually been going for the Eagles the past few years. We'll see how they do against the Giants next week, that game will say alot. The Eagles fans are the best though. I remember when Micheal Irvin broke his neck and the Philly fans cheered, fuckin' classic!

I'm from southeastern Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia fans are a fucking joke. They're just there to get drunk and boo, they don't know the first thing about any of the sports they watch, and are generally a bunch of loudmouthed, worthless assholes. Not to mention they're complete fairweather fans. When I moved here from Connecticut a decade ago, I retained my Boston/New York (just the Giants, because I couldn't like the Patriots after they balked on moving to Hartford) allegiances, and now I'm glad I'm not associated with the scum.

Not only did they lose Peterson, but they lost Brandon Loyd, Mike Rump, Cedric Wilson, and one of there really good linebackers. And they basically gained no one.

Maybe they shouldn't have given Alex Smith that big ass contract. I am surprised to see that a team that used to spend so much money is now so fuckin cheap.

Then again free agency doesn't get you championships...ask Washington. One of the best stats I saw last night was that Washington has signed 21 free agents that the year before had been to the pro bowl and when they got to Washington...nothing. Think maybe the owner needs to ask for a few refunds...
