Those of you using WinAmp and Music Match, are you using the free version or the paid?

Paid in both cases.

Since you have used the paid in both of them. What one would you reccomend?

I am basically looking for something to add albums to, have track lists to play, rip cd's into mp3 format.

Winamp.  Back when I bought MusicMatch, I found it better than Winamp but nowadays Winamp > MMJB.  The only reason I use both right now is that I don't listen to much music on my PC, so MMJB does the trick, and I want to keep my Winamp library clean and an exact replica of my iPOD's content.

I have Winamp, RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, Live365, Musicmatch, Quicktime, Iceberg Radio, Yahoo Launchcast, and AOL/Netscape Media Player, although I listen to Winamp  the most.

What the fuck icon_eek icon_eek icon_eek icon_eek

For the winamp question, I use the free version... I just want it to play the mp3s, no cd burning, mp3 encoding etc.

I don't use the computer to listen to music very much but when I do I use Windows media player and haven't really tried anything else. Everyone keeps saying it's crap, but I myself is quite satisfied. Why are the others so much better?

WinAmp for me, too.  I don't even think I've bothered to try any others.  Maybe one day.
