Helstar - The King of Hell

New album after about a million years, and it isn't bad, but it definitely isn't on par with their older work. It's a lot darker and heavier, with less straight ahead heavy metal riffs (and sadly, a few that approach the "groove" level), and James Rivera is still great. It's definitely a grower, too, just like their old stuff was.

I'm curious about this and may pick it up one day but the tracks I heard were a bit same-y.

I was hoping for something more in the "Nosferatu"/"A Distant Thunder" mold.
