I've seen many band-shirts that isn't black, but white, grey etc. etc.

So...not a big deal really to wear white, only if you're a black metaller i'm sure

i dont think i've seen a white shirt for a Death metal band...  0_o

So now we wait for the first death metal band to release a white shirt with a black or... god forbid colourful-but-on-a-white-background logo.

I'd put the same challenge forward to a black metal band too.

I remember not too long after Columbine happened, I was walking in the mall with a friend of mine, and he happened to be wearing a black trenchcoat (which in his case has more to do with his obsession with The Undertaker than anything related to those two homos). This swaggering, obnoxious negro sees him and says "oh we got dem over here too now!?" What a moron. I don't know if Columbine really changed anything for people outside of the U.S., but I'm sure everyone knows what a big stink they made over it. I remember I was still in high school then and anyone wearing all black, or long coats or anything like that was looked at like they were gonna shoot people next. Bunch of dumbass sheep.

Personally I think people who like metal, particularly the more extreme genres, wear black for one or all of several reasons:

People who wear black tend to look like they don't fuck around and mean business, and hell that's what metal is all about.

Wearing (all) black signifies a desire to abstain from conforming with the status quo.

A vast majority of metal deals with themes of darkness, death, hatred, misanthropy, solemnity, hopelessness, etc., and these ideas are thus personified by the only color which can properly denote such.....black.

On a side note, women look really hot in black.

I have seen white Burzum T-shirts and I'm sure there are others
