It's because Darth Vader wore black. As I'm sure you're aware, Darth was the universe's first ever metaller (even though his self composed Imperial March theme tune isn't quite what we known and love as metal nowadays - what do you expect though? It was a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away).
Watch the documentary "Star Wars" that was discovered in the late seventies if you don't believe me. Pre-dates Sabbath by thousands of years.

Does that mean that by eating their curries, you'll get an endless illness? I'm wearing black because it was the first shirt I grabbed this morning. I actually only have one black work shirt. Most the rest are blue or white, or both. Many of my t-shirts are black, though. My pants are kind of gray-ish. Why are we talking about clothes? |
